Developed by Climate Justice Alliance–Bangladesh (CJA-B), this position paper brings together civil society priorities for COP31, calling for measurable implementation, accountability and climate justice. It examines key negotiation issues, including mitigation, adaptation, loss and damage, climate finance and just transition, alongside gender equality, health, human rights and climate-related displacement. Drawing on collective analysis and consultations, the paper urges stronger emissions reductions, funded adaptation and accessible, grant-based finance that responds to the needs of vulnerable countries and frontline communities. It aims to inform Bangladesh’s negotiating priorities and support coordinated civil society advocacy.
