Center for Participatory Research and Development (CPRD) organized an Orientation Workshop on “Implementing ground research and advocacy activities on loss and damages (L&Ds) associated with the impacts of climate change” at CPRD conference room on 3rd February 2022 with it’s project partners Badabon Sangho, MAASAUS, and Shariatpur Development Society- SDS. The discussion aimed at project implementation planning with partners.
In his opening speech Mr. Shamsuddoha, Chief Executive of CPRD briefly described the expected outcome and expectation of the project. After the opening speech, Mr. Shamsuddoha narrate about Climate Change and associated Loss and Damage at his session.
Open Discussion/ clarifying questions session took place followed by a discussion on research and advocacy activities among the participants. Marina Hasda, Executive Director of MAASAUS, Lipi Rahman Executive Director of Badabon Sangho, and young professionals from partner organizations were actively present in the discussion.
Session on Planning, reporting, accounts, and administrative concerns jointly facilitated by Mr. Shamsuddoha, Mr. Md. Akib Jabed Senior Research Assistant and Shohel Mahmud Nobel Senior Accounts & Admin Officer of CPRD.
The discussion ended with Reflections and opinions from all and the session was administered by Ms. Rabeya Begum, Executive Director-SDS and Chairperson, Steering Committee, CANSA-BD.
