Today, 01 December 2021, a regional dialogue was jointly organized by POPI, Center for Participatory Research and Development (CPRD) , BRAC University, GCRF and Lancaster University, UK  titled “Youth in Entrepreneurship: Opportunities and Challenges” The discussion took place at PART conference hall kishoreganj, Bangladesh, from 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.

The dialogue was facilitated by Mr. Md. Akib Jabed, Senior Research Assistant, CPRD and Mr. Faridul Alam, Kishoregonj District Coordinator, POPI. The dialogue was also supported by Mr. Tapos Das from Brac University, Mr. Al-Imran and Mr. Shahnul Isalm from CPRD.

There were a number of representatives from different government and non-government organizations including Mr,  Mojibur Rahman Belal, President, kishoreganj Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Mustafa Kamal, President kishoreganj Press club, Masuma Akter, Vice-President Upazila Parishad, Mr. Assistant Director, Upazila social welfare office, and many others distinguished participants, journalists, CSOs organizations representatives, Youth entrepreneur, Women and Youth leaders participated in the discussion. This dialogue has identified a significant number of entrepreneurial activities and challenges that are faced by the entrepreneurs in Kishorgonj region. Besides, participants have also suggested several solutions to address the challenges for flourishing entrepreneurs in the region.
