Rai Dhar is a Research Officer at the Center for Participatory Research and Development (CPRD). She holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Visva-Bharati University, Santiniketan, India. Her research focuses on wastewater-based biomethane production, solar energy integration, and environmental policy, and she has co-authored publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Rai has presented her work at national and international conferences and actively engages in science communication and youth leadership. She is a passionate advocate for clean energy transitions and equitable environmental solutions, with a strong interest in bridging the gap between science and policy.
Outside of her professional work, Rai enjoys photography, traditional dance, and volunteering with youth-led environmental initiatives. Her multifaceted interests reflect a deep commitment to sustainability, innovation, and community empowerment.
