Mr Al Imran is currently employed as a Senior Officer- Research and Campaign at the Centre for Participatory Research and Development (CPRD). He is presently involved in a project titled “Research and Advocacy to Enhance Climate Change Justice for LDCs, Bangladesh in Particular under the Paris Climate Agreement”. With almost four years of experience in both scientific and social research, Mr Imran possesses expertise in reporting on climate change, disaster risk reduction (DRR), environmental and social interventions for development purposes.
Mr Al Imran is an active environmental activist who has volunteered with various national and international organizations. He has also participated in numerous extracurricular activities related to environmental causes. Throughout his professional career, he has served multiple research-based non-governmental organizations in Bangladesh. Mr Imran has completed his academic pursuits in the discipline of environmental science at Stamford University Bangladesh. Throughout his career, he has effectively conducted numerous research projects pertaining to socio-economic and environmental matters. His professional trajectory exemplifies his unwavering dedication to research-based advocacy for climate change justice, an issue of utmost importance for vulnerable, developing nations such as Bangladesh.
