Dr. Mohammed Nadiruzzaman is serving as a Research Consultant at the Center for Participatory Research and Development (CPRD), Bangladesh. He obtained his Master’s (Research) and PhD in Human Geography from Durham University, United Kingdom, where his research focused on climate change, disaster risk, and social vulnerability. He is currently a Part-Time Assistant Professor in the Department of Health, Ethics and Society at Maastricht University, the Netherlands.
At CPRD, Dr. Nadiruzzaman provides strategic research leadership and technical advisory support to strengthen the organization’s research and policy advocacy initiatives. His expertise contributes to the design and implementation of high-quality research on climate justice, adaptation, environmental governance, health and climate change, climate finance, and resilience-building. Through his engagement with CPRD, he supports the generation of policy-relevant evidence and promotes informed national and international dialogue on equitable, inclusive, and sustainable climate action.
