Ayesha Siddika is a Senior Officer – Accounts & Internal Audit at the Center for Participatory Research and Development (CPRD). She supports the Finance and Internal Audit functions by ensuring compliance with organizational policies, donor requirements, and statutory regulations. Her responsibilities include reviewing financial documents, supporting payroll, budget monitoring, financial reporting, bank reconciliations, tax and VAT compliance, and internal audit activities to strengthen financial accountability and effective governance across the organization.
Prior to joining CPRD, Ayesha completed her CA Articleship at Howladar Yunus & Co., Chartered Accountants, a member firm of Grant Thornton International. She gained practical experience in financial statement audits, internal control assessments, taxation, VAT compliance, financial reporting, payroll review, and donor-funded project audits.
Ayesha completed the Chartered Accountancy Course (CA-CC) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) and holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting from the National University, Bangladesh. She is committed to promoting transparency, accountability, and sound financial management to support sustainable development initiatives.
