Sheikh Zannatul Ferdous

Sheikh Zannatul Ferdous Silvia is working as a ‘Research Intern’ at the Centre for Participatory Research and Development (CPRD).
Currently, she is working on the project entitled ‘Research and Advocacy to enhance climate change justice for LDCs, Bangladesh in particular under Paris Climate Agreement.
She has recently completed her MSc from the Department of Meteorology at the University of Dhaka with an outstanding result. In addition, the National Science and Technology (NST) fellowship was granted to her for her Master's thesis research. Before that, she completed her Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Soil, Water and Environment, University of Dhaka. She was appointed as a teaching assistant at the Department of Meteorology at the University of Dhaka. She has experience working on various research projects while in the university. She has hands-on experience in operating climatic models. Her keen interest in the research world includes weather forecasts, climate change adaptation, and mitigation, disaster management, climate change impacts and mitigation, climate resilience, environmental issues, environmental health hazards, etc.
