A Training Workshop on Climate Change and South-South cooperation has been organized by CCDB on 05-07 December 2017 at Hope Foundation, Savar, Dhaka.
During this training, CPRD has played its role as a facilitator and learner as well. Diverse Participants from India, Nepal, and Bangladesh attended the training. The main objective of the training workshop was to build cooperation among South Asian countries on climate change issues like sharing good practice, research, advocacy with government and community at country level for taking regional initiatives to face climate change impact in the South Asian region. Three facilitators from government and NGO have delivered lectures on Climate Change Negotiation, Politics, National and International Initiatives. Participants visited Climate Technology Park in Srepur, Gazipur as the part of the training. During field, trip participants were introduced with some climate-friendly technologies inside the park. Though the park is under construction stage. Finally, a brainstorming session was held where each organization discussed how significantly they can play the role with their expertise level and what initiative should be taken at the regional level to face adversity of climate change impact.
